Consequence-Conviction Matrix
A framework for matching decision-making approach to the situation: high-conviction/low-consequence decisions should be made quickly by individuals; high-conviction/high-consequence decisions deserve rapid execution with monitoring; low-conviction/low-consequence decisions should be delegated or experimented; low-conviction/high-consequence decisions require careful analysis and input. The common error: applying the same deliberation process to all four quadrants.
