The useful scheduling question is empirical and local: what work periods and breaks fit the task, constraints, and person's actual response? A ninety-minute block can be tried as a convenient schedule, not a biological command. Sleep, time of day, task difficulty, and interruptions can explain changes that might otherwise be attributed to a hidden cycle.
