Catalysts
A catalyst provides a reaction pathway with different kinetic barriers and is regenerated overall. It accelerates approach without changing the equilibrium constant for the same reaction at a fixed temperature.

But people consume time and effort, and connecting parties can change their aims and outcomes. Identify the actual obstacle and preserve their choice. The mere absence of a collaboration does not prove that it would be valuable or that a catalyst is all it needs.

In practical analogies, identify a specific obstacle that an intermediary can remove and evaluate costs, consent, and effects. Absence of a reaction does not prove a catalyst is all that is missing.
