Bundle

Bundle means putting work back into one person's hands in one sitting, when passing it between people, tools, or steps keeps losing details and costing more than the split saves.

It is the last Sunday of the month and you are looking at a row in your invoicing spreadsheet that reads "9/14, client meeting, 40 min." You cannot remember what that meeting was about. The call happened inside one app, you typed the line into the sheet four days later from memory, and your bookkeeper flags it a month after that with a question you can no longer answer. Three separate passes, two gaps between them, and now you are guessing at what to bill a person who trusts you.

Bundle is the repair move for work you split across people, tools, or steps when the seam costs more than the split ever saved. The cue is a handoff that leaks: you re-explain the same thing twice, you wait on someone before you can move, details go missing between stages. The operation has three steps. Name the pieces that keep losing context. Put all of them in one person's hands. Give that person one sitting with a fixed slot to finish them. Here, you write the invoice line in the last two minutes of the call itself, while the work is still in your head, and send it. What changes is that the guessing stops and month-end shrinks to a glance. Bundle is the wrong move when the split exists for a real reason: a second set of eyes on money, a permission boundary, or someone learning the job by owning their part of it.
