If success depends on something you do not yet understand, the next goal may need to be learning. Name the decision, the uncertainty that could change it, and the smallest timely observation that would update you.

Learn Before Earn changes the next destination from demanding performance to resolving a decision-relevant uncertainty. It fits unknown preferences, mechanisms, or conditions. State what would change your mind in either direction and when the learning phase ends. The recipe specifies what should be learned; obtaining reliable evidence is additional work, not something the wording itself accomplishes.
