Arms-Race Mirror

Each side says it is only responding, yet both keep escalating. Describe how each protective action could become the other side’s trigger, then check that account against actual episodes.

Write both sides of a proposed escalation circuit using observable actions, not assumed motives. Ask whether each response increases the conditions prompting the other. If supported and appropriate, test a bounded reciprocal or unilateral step-down that preserves essential protections. Symmetry in a diagram does not establish equal responsibility.
