Delay Detective
You are about to repeat a correction or judge its result. First check how long its consequence should take to arrive and what is already in motion.
Action time. Arrival time. Earliest fair judgment.
Mark the lag between an action, its consequence, and the information you receive. Compare that lag with elapsed time before adding another correction or declaring success. Set both an earliest useful review and a latest acceptable wait; delay is a hypothesis to check, not an unlimited excuse.
Try this when…

The report arrives after the next decision.
