Snapshot to Movie

When today’s picture makes a problem look permanent or mysterious, reconstruct what happened before it. A short sequence can reveal a turning point, a delay, or a changing direction.

Before → transition → now → what might happen next.

A snapshot tells you where things stand. A movie adds how they arrived there and which changes are still unfolding. Use dated observations where possible, mark gaps instead of filling them with a story, and keep predictions separate from events that have already happened.

Try this when…

It suddenly got bad, but I cannot tell when.

This number looks terrible. Has it always been like this?

We changed something last week and nothing happened.

Are we getting better, or just having a good day?

What you can use it for

Understanding a change

Locate what shifted before a current problem appeared.

Reading progress

Compare direction and timing rather than judging from one measurement.
