WHO

Generate a new option by changing who performs the action.

Every December you host your extended family, and every December you end it depleted: the shopping, the cooking, the peacemaking between two uncles all route through you. This year you are dreading it already, and your only idea so far is to grit through it again with better planning.

WHO is a transform move: generate a new option by changing the actor in your plan. The framework writes each option as a sentence with changeable slots (who does what, to what, how, when, at what scale, under what rules), and this move edits just the actor slot. The cue that it applies is a plan where one person, usually you, is silently doing everything. Run it by asking who else could hold each piece: your sister hosts the dinner while you handle gifts, the uncles get seated by your father who they actually listen to, a caterer takes the cooking entirely. Each swap is a distinct new option, not a tweak. What changes is that invisible alternatives appear where before there was only "me, but trying harder." Skip this move when the action genuinely cannot transfer, such as a conversation only you can have; delegating those creates worse problems than exhaustion.
