Pilot Before Promise

An idea sounds workable, but you have never run it under real conditions. A bounded pilot helps you test delivery before offering an ongoing promise to yourself or others.

Bound it. Run the real version. Review before promising.

Run a limited working version of the proposed commitment. Specify who participates, what is included, how long it lasts, what success means, and when to stop. Preserve the demanding parts that determine feasibility; a flattering demonstration cannot answer whether the ongoing arrangement works.
