Two Independent Eyes

One confident assessment may carry a blind spot nobody has challenged. Get two assessments separately, using meaningfully different perspectives or methods, then examine their disagreements before a responsible person decides what to accept.

Separate first. Compare reasons. Investigate disagreement. Adjudicate.

Two reviewers help only when they can contribute something genuinely independent. Keep their initial conclusions separate and vary relevant methods, data, incentives or perspective. Then compare the reasons and resolve material disagreements. Two people repeating one source, or two similar tools repeating one error, do not create independent support.

Try this when…

Everyone agreed after hearing the first confident answer.

We have two reviews based on the same unchecked source.

I want a second check that could actually disagree.

The second reviewer only polished the first reviewer’s wording.
