Your phone shows the pediatrician appointment at 3:00 Thursday. Your partner's calendar says Friday. Grandma, who is driving, was told "sometime this week." All three of you are working from a real version of the plan; they are just three different versions, and one child is about to miss a checkup while two adults each swear they had it handled.

Synchronize means keeping every copy and every person aligned to one current version of the truth. The cue is the same fact living in multiple places, or multiple people acting on it, with drift between them. The operation: pick one location as authoritative, such as a single shared family calendar, route every update through it, and set a cadence or trigger for realignment, like changes entered at the moment they are made. When it works, the question "wait, which version is right?" disappears from your household, and coordination stops depending on whoever texted last. The spec's boundary is worth respecting: syncing everything can curdle into surveillance, as when partners are required to log every private plan, and constant real-time syncing of drafts creates churn where a periodic checkpoint would serve. Synchronize the state people act on, not each other's lives.
